At our school we have five different classes.

Tussock - Year 0 and 1

Beech - Year 6

Beech is a Year 6 classroom with two teachers: Miss George and Miss Clark. When you enter Year 6, you will find great pieces of art, learning and writing...

Rata - Year 7 and 8

Rata is a Year 7 and 8 classroom with one teacher: ​Ms Robinson. At Year 7 and 8, we expect you to be working at a high excellence level, helping younger kids, being a great role-model and being a great leader in preparation for their next big chapter, high school. 

Where To Next?

​Students leave at the end of Year 8 and, in general, attend Mt Hutt College, Ashburton College or a boarding school. Our tamariki leave our kura equipped with skills to be lifelong learners and future leaders. We are proud of the success of all our former students who are excellent ambassadors for their whanau, our community and our school, many of whom are successful in student leadership roles at their high school, such as head student or student representatives on their college board.
